Lightning is an amazing boy. He's full of love and is so willing to share it with us. He must have the patience of a saint because
he puts up with my singing. Each of our dogs has their own song and Lightning's is one that there's no way I could carry a tune
to, but he looks at me with eyes of love and melts into my body when I sing it softly to him.
Lightning got his name because when I've needed God in my life, He's often shown me lightning. I needed a Havanese that was
mine and loved lap time. Bandit is my husband's girl except at night when she cuddles up to me and Lightning is my boy
although he has to push Ellie aside from time to time to get the best lap spot. Luckily, they're good buddies and are willing to
share.
Lightning started sleeping on my chest when he was a 9 week old puppy and it's common for me to wake up with him looking
me in the face waiting for my eyes to open. His partner in crime is Ellie and when she thinks it's taking me too long to wake up,
she'll kiss me, pull my hair, tug on my ears, and pounce on me if need be. When he was a little puppy, sleeping on my chest
meant me laying on the floor because we don't allow puppies on the bed until they can get on and off themselves.
Lightning is pointed and working on getting his championship, but he'll do it when we have shows within a couple of hours of
us, which is rare this far south in Texas. In the meantime, he's my darling lap dog and a joy to be around.

Here I am all grown up and still going lighter in color. After a failed attempt at cording I got
shaved. Now that I'm almost back into coat it's time for the show ring again. I'm a Daddy!
