  • Are Havanese good dogs for people with allergies?
     For most, yes. To be 100% sure, we recommend you spending a day with a Havanese if your allergies are severe.

  • What is the personality of the Havanese?
     They are a dog that enjoys being a part of your family. Havanese excel in obedience venues because
      they are easy to train and eager to learn. Havanese easily blend in with other dogs in your home.

  • What health testing do we do?
     We test for hips, hearing (BAER), patella, cardiac, and CERF test yearly
     (CERF is an eye test to make sure there are no cataracts)

  • Are Havanese good for homes with children?
      They are one of the toy breeds that are wonderful with children. That does not mean leave a young child alone with any type of dog
      but Havanese are very child friendly.
