My daughter was here over the Christmas holiday and
on Christmas Eve, Bandit (Ch. Sedoso Flirt Alert) went
into labor. A C section was needed and there was no
staff at my vet's office so as puppies were born they
were handed to whoever had a free hand at the time.
This little girl, Missy, wasn't responding well and as
the vet worked on her Mommy, he instructed my
daughter how to bring Missy to life. Missy has never
forgotten that and they have a relationship that's
beyond close. Sometimes I wonder if they have their
own language they speak to each other.
Our agreement was that when Missy came of age, she
would be shown and I'd pay the handler. Missy had her
own ideas about being away from her Mommy and her
Mommy cried every day that Missy was out showing.
That lasted about 3 weeks and I couldn't handle my
daughter missing her little girl so we pulled her from
the show ring.
